CANT FORMAT MY USB >:(

I cant format my usb I have tried EVERYTHING. Its a 32gb "generic" usb. its not fake. its really f***ing annoying because i need it. HELP PLEASE!

Can you describe your issue more in detail? "I can't format" doesn't mean much. What error are you getting? Is the drive showing up in explorer?

Why can't you format it?

Use Linux, install GParted. Problem solved

It says windows was unable to complete the format. yes it is showing up.cant use a virtual machine becuase its saying timed out after 60010ms waiting for child request #1 (close events) (rc=258)

If you are not trying to recover any data from it, then try using the HP USB Disk utility. It works wonders and is usually able to format drives that windows is struggling with. Make sure to run as admin...

When in doubt, re-format.
