Is the Steam Web Browser based off of Firefox?

PlayStation 2

I was messing with Steam and somehow managed to get to the download page of Adobe Flash when this URL popped up.

Does this mean the Steam Web Browser is based on Firefox or Chrome or something?

I wanna hear your thoughts on it, and sorry if it's in the wrong subforum.

Check out my guide on how to scan cover art here!

Local asshole and 6th generation console enthusiast.

Actually, I would love it if Steam made their own dedicated web browser based on Firefox. They could have built-in utilities for Twitch, Steam, etc. It'd be incredible. I'd switch tomorrow.

Yeah, I kinda thought that it was based off of Chromium, but the first thing that popped up in my head was Firefox for some reason.

They actually only recently updated the browser to use Chromium. Before that it was IE.

If I could program, I'd code that tomorrow.
