I'm using the floppy as a 4-pin adapter for my fan to my power supply, but the end of the cable which is a 6-pin says "PERIF"

 

Do I plug it in to the PATA slot in my PSU? The only other option is SATA so I'm assuming it's PATA.

Nope, I found out that I'm gonna need to get 4 pin to molex adapters. I wasn't paying attention that there were no pins on either of the cables lol.

you need to show us pictures of the plug

 

 

you wont want to kill your PSU and your whole computer just because you plug them wrongly

Budget? Uses? Currency? Location? Operating System? Peripherals? Monitor? Use PCPartPicker wherever possible.
