Battlefront thoughts

Thony

When i first saw some pictures from the game months ago i was excited. But now when i see the game on youtube and twitch it just doesnt excite me anymore :(. The graphics are amazing though,

I will play beta but wont be buying the game once it comes out and i will just stick with BF 4.

Anyone else feeling the same way ?

I feel as the game is all graphics, no gameplay. The game play feels minimalistic at best feeling closer to a game like COD with the pickups being kill streaks. I was tempted to buy it but glad I didn't pre-order it. My GPU would crash and burn before it could play that game.

Its recommended RAM is 16 gigs (holy balls) and a 970. Either its on par if not higher than ARMA 3 in graphics or its very poorly made.

The 16gb of ram  is them trying to sell ram..lol No i dunno but the machines they had running for testing had an i7 4790, 8gb ram, and 290x and they ran they game at like 80 fps. So I dont think theres a need for 16gb.

Battlefront = Battlefield (Star Wars Edition)

Lol. IMO, Battlefront looks like a reskin of Battlefield 4

I'm in the same boat as all of you. I think the graphics are stunning but from what I've seen the gameplay looks pretty boring...

Looks really disappointing compared to the original Battlefront games. I feel bad for all the people who missed out on those. All graphics no gameplay or content.

I'll test the bêta, but BF4 was really horrible at the beginning, then I won't buy it D1 + some games are really long to be done at 100% (MGS V, witcher NG+ ...).

And, no server browser is really disappointing.

I'm playing it right now and I love it so far it isn't like the old Battlefronts but neither is it like Battlefield it feels like it is its own thing.
They also improved a lot from the Alpha I played at gamescom AT-ST is now pretty strong and the flying is much better people are already doing bombing runs with the Tie's and X-Wings's.
Heroes are also really fun but need some animation work and the voice acting of them is just horrible.

It plays nothing like battlefield, vehicles are different, guns and aiming are different... literally all very different mechanically

Or the third option: system requirements are usually not specific or accurate enough to draw the conclusions that tech enthusiasts want to be able to draw. Every time a major new release posts it's official system requirements, there's always a small panic on this forum about it. EA needs their game to run fine on reasonable system configurations or they aren't going to sell it.

If you oversee the SW Skin, it looks like a casual version of Battlefield. Brought down to the lowest common denominator and aiming on your wallet with Dlc Overkills. I hope i am wrong.
