gpu bios reflash problem

Mayur0110

I recently reflashed my gpu using nvflash tool

the reflash was successful .

But after that when I restarted my pc it did'nt post.

But when I removed my gpu and connected the monitor to motherboard's display port the pc works absolutely fine .

So is my gpu dead

I have tried clearing the CMOS but it did'nt help.

Its dead if it does not POST.

Do NOT fiddle with ROM, unless you absolutley need to.

Primary: Lenovo T61 / Intel Core2Duo T7200 @ 2.2GHz / 3GB DDR2 / NVIDIA Quadro NVS 140M / Fedora 22 <<<< THE WHITE KNIGHT

Secondary: Compaq Presario CQ56 / AMD V130 @ 2.3GHz / 2GB DDR3 / AMD Radeon HD 4250 / Windows 8.1 <<< THE FORGOTTEN HERO

What GPU do you have? Also, is there a UEFI/Legacy switch on your GPU?

my gpu is a very basic gpu geforce 210

I was just trying to learn to flash bios as I am upgrading to gtx 960 very soon

and it does not have UEFI/Legacy switch.

That's really incredibly ancient...

Flashing BIOS has changed much since then...
