Tips for wireless headset and why Steelseris H sucks

ReCon

So I'm currently looking for a new headset OR headphone and it has to be wireless, have a replaceable battery (preferably proprietary battery, dont ask why) for unlimited usage hours, and pretty darn solidly built.

My budget is around 300-400 US Dollars but obviously if there are cheaper headsets/phones then that would be great.

-- Skip all below if you're not interested in why the Steelseries H Wireless sucks --

First some backstory:

A number of months ago I decided to try the Steelseries H Wireless headset because I wasn't happy with my Astros, anyway, the H Wireless seemed awesome, they had everything I wanted, they were perfect for me.

Now why the Steelseries H Wireless headset sucks:

A few months of using the crap out of it and it broke, specifically one side of the headset suddenly came loose and was dangling freely. I got lucky and the store sent me a new one for free even though they didn't have to. These new pairs lasted for a while but eventually they also broke.

I'm now on my third pair and this one has broken aswell.

The Steelseries H Wireless is extremely fragile in certain areas and if you're in a habit of holding your headset by one cup or maybe you twist the cups just a little bit too much (which shouldn't cause it to come apart like it does) when putting the headset on then you might be in trouble because eventually this will cause enough stress to cause cracks (spot where all my headsets cracked in picture below). I tend to twist the cups when I put it on and aswell when I take it off and put it down on my desk or whatever.

To understand how much I twist the cups: I twist it until I feel the limit of how far it goes and sometimes that limit comes a little bit earlier than I thought, and maybe I have the headset in my hand and I move my hand up in a fast motion for some reason this would definetaly be enough stress to eventually break the headset. My point is I'm not aggressivaly twisting the cups with alot of force, its just probably barely more than what I should.

Attached picture displays where cracks can very easily occur without any major physical stress to the headset (picture only shows one side but can occur on both sides).

Seems to be a common design problem. Manufacturers don't account for headphone-twisting freaks who don't know how to put headphones on like a normal human, and it all ends in tears.

I would get the best Sennheiser wireless that fits in your budget.

I went and bought another Steelseries H Wireless, stupid thing to do I know but I can't for the life of me find a headset that meets my requirements.

I'll just have to try as much as I can to not over-twist.

Atleast I've got plenty of spare parts like batteries and cushions now so It's not all bad :D
