SD805 on a 1440p screen isnt that great. Even your droid Mini will beat it: Adreno 320 on 720p screen. I know, since i had an Xperia SP, with virtually the same specs as your Droid Mini and have tested a Note 4.

Z5 Compact has the same internal specs as the Z5 and Z5 Premium, except 1Gb less of RAM. According to the product pages on Sony's site. But for me I only care about graphics performance in the UI, I don't play mobile games. My real interest in the Turbo is the battery, Ballistic Nylon, and the Motorola stuff. My interest in the Z5 Compact is the size, camera, and (mostly) stock Android. Oh yeah the Z5 series have one badass camera on the back. I know nothing of the front facing camera, because I give 0% of a damn about 'selfies' at all.
