Data Recovery

So I went to go export an apk in Android Studio and I exported it to my desktop. When I did that it deleted almost all of my files. I was able to quit the program before it deleted my whole desktop. Is there a program I can use to recover all the folders and the files that were in them? The files aren't in my recycling bin either.
