[PC] Is MW2 still worth it?

SeanAngelo

So I'm thinking about buying CoD: MW2 on G2A as it's only £5. I have always wanted to go back to this game since my xbox live ran out a couple of months ago and instead of renewing my xbox live, I thought why not give it a go on PC. So my question is, is this game still worth it? I miss the game to be honest with you, especially proud of my K/D on xbox, which was 2.95 (noob, i know xD)

Thanks,

Sean.

If you are buying it for the story then its alright, for 5 bucks you cant go wrong. Online though is a different story, a lot of lobbys are hacked and not many people play on PC anymore(there was a peak of 3300 people today, that's not much). If LTT had a CoD group it would be fun, but I don't think there is one.

If you are interested in the campaign (and you should be) then definitely yes. The multiplayer was one of the best games I've ever played until it started losing players and the hackers took over.

I think that was one of the last COD games where I enjoyed the single and multiplayer equally.

I haven't been able to get an MP game going for a long time though. Too bad. Akimbo 1887s were dope.

The Rainbow X58: i7 975 Extreme Edition @4.2GHz, Asus Sabertooth X58, 6x2GB Mushkin Redline DDR3-1600 @2000MHz, SP 256GB Gen3 M.2 w/ Sabrent M.2 to PCI-E, Inno3D GTX 580 x2 SLI w/ Heatkiller waterblocks, Custom loop in NZXT Phantom White, Corsair XR7 360 rad hanging off the rear end, 360 slim rad up top. RGB everywhere.

For five euro I would definitely throw it into my collection, even if just for the story. The story was a very memorable one. Personally, Call of Duty Modern Warfare 2 is what really got me into gaming to begin with, because in middle school when it came out EVERYONE bought it and TONS of hours were had playing it. And if you have a friend to play with, you can try and complete all of the spec ops missions which can be fun too!

Corsair 5000D / Intel Core i7 12700k / Noctua NH-D15 / MSI Z690 Pro-Wifi DDR4 / RTX 3080 Ti Founder's Edition / 16GB Crucial Ballistix 3200 MHz / EVGA SuperNova 650w / Samsung 850 Pro EVO 256GB / ADATA SX8200 Pro / MSI Mag 274QRF-QD / LG CX 55" / Logitech G-Pro Wireless

For that price I would get it, but I would say MW1 > MW2, both story and multiplayer but that's just me.
