Tigerdirect - Free Logitech Z313 Speakers After MIR

Guest

I already ordered one even though I don't really need it.  I think it's a pretty amazing deal, even if the speakers aren't the nicest.  Free is free, right?

Something tells me that $60 rebate might not work.

Which appears to be what the rebate is actually for.  Apparently they're so desperate for customers they're giving away speakers just to lure people in

Solve your own audio issues  |  First Steps with RPi 3  |  Humidity & Condensation  |  Sleep & Hibernation  |  Overclocking RAM  |  Making Backups  |  Displays  |  4K / 8K / 16K / etc.  |  Do I need 80+ Platinum?

If you can read this you're using the wrong theme.  You can change it at the bottom.

It's not even for that, "How to Qualify for your McAfee Rebate: 1. Purchase a qualifying McAfee product listed below from TigerDirect between 8/9/2015 and 11/21/2015."  The qualifying McAfee product is 60$.  Idek.

To the best of my knowledge you have purchased speakers that come with a $60 credit for McAfee (basically)

So I guess it does come with it, but does the renewal cost money?

Don't know, but would bet yes, since that would make this whole devilish business strategy make sense

Oh really?  That's great news!  Everyone in here was being super negative about it for some reason.  If I do have trouble activating it, would you mind if I sent you a PM for help?

Yeah, no problem.

It's more a pain than regular rebates, but still fine.

You need to have auto renewal enabled for 6 months. After that, make sure to disable it, as you only have a year free, so If you don't disable it, it will charge you.

I got a free 64gb flash drive and free 8gb ram with this rebate

Do you have to wait the 6 months for the rebate, or can you get it immediately?  Or is it send in the slip, have auto renew enabled and wait, and then after that time they send you the money?

My friend said the rebate was a bit of a pain, but we didn't have much time to talk about why.

You get it immediately (well, as long as a normal rebate, so a few weeks)

So you don't really need to keep it enabled for 6 months

That's awesome!  Now I can't wait for it to come!  Knowing me, something bad is gonna happen eventually.

Yeah I'm tempted to get this. But I don't actually need it.
