Which gpu to get?

vinchy

Currently having a problem on which gpu to get in terms of 1080p gaming and planning on dual monitor setup and im stuck on what to pick and my pc theme is white red slight black.

Current Rig Specs:

i5-4460

Msi H97 Gaming 3

Gainward phantom gtx 680(which is gonna be sold soon)

8gigs of Kingston HyperX Fury

Seasonic M12ii-Evo 620w

Nzxt S340(the case that doesnt suck) White edition

Im choosing between

Msi Twin Frozr gtx 960 2gb ed(450$) full warranty

And

Zotac Gtx 780 reference (562$) with only 6months shop warranty and 6months manufacturer warranty due to a clearance sale here in philippines.

Thanks guys! Have a nice day :)

Phantoms are so rare these days...

Anyways, in which country do you live and what's your budget?

Have you considered a R9 280X or R9 380? Maybe even 390 or GTX 970?

Err, a 960 wont be better than a 680, thats not even a sidegrade.

A r9 290/390 would be 30% better or so, but why the heck does the 960 cost 450$ O.o.

If that is your only option I wouldnt upgrade if I were you.

None, you're going downwards with the 960 and the 780 won't be much of an upgrade.

What's your budget? (In USD please)

For that price the best nvidia card you can get is a 960 with a beefy cooler, as others said 960 is not really an upgrade to a 680 better save up some more and aim for a 970 with the best I can find is @14.5k php ~ 315usd. Out of topic where is that clearance sale you spoke of earlier? I'm also from the ph.

You can't get anywhere with that, save until you got around 320 USD. Get a 970 or 390 then. REALLY

I see phantoms everywhere in malaysia and their way cheaper then the other options. back to the topic if its between the 780 or 960 personally ill go for the 960 becase i prefer the stuff.(yes i know its weird) but i really do think you should save up and go for either a 970 or an r9 390
