As the previous owner of a 550D it's gonna need alot of work to fit a 360mm rad, it's only rad mounting is on the top and back(240/280-120/140). You can't mount a rad in the front and the top has a thick plastic panel that will need a lot of work to look good should you cut it up. The rad mount at the top of the case also isn't offset so it can interfere with some motherboards.

Would you definetly go for the 390?

I would, where I am located the 390 and 970 are the same price and since the 390 will perform better I would go with it. Although if there is a considerable price difference then the cheaper one would be the way to go since the 970 is still a good card, just the 390 is a bit better so a better price/performance ratio depending on where you live.

I have some plans in mind on where the 360mm is going.Case will be cut up in sacrifice for watercooling will be adding side window etc.

Kink has been sorted with a couple cable ties.

Need some glass for that freshly cut side window.
