crossfire vs new gpu OPINIONS NEEDED

Hello peoples,

I have a r7 260x for a graphics card and honestly i am fine with its performance in games although i would like a slight upgrade so i can run games at higher settings (although i havent run into any games that i cant run in 1080p) i dont need to max settings i just wanna go into say gta V and run 1080P at high detail without my frames dropping below 60 (they usualy stay in the 40's) to clarify my situation a little more i have a 3 monitor setup and a tv that run off my comp and i havent had any problems with that either, i was just wondering should i save the money and shell out like 250 for a new gpu or spread out the load over two gpus and run them crossfire (or sli i dont know the terms) for gaming and spend 150 (probably way cheaper if i really look) on another r7 260x?

Get a better GPU.

New GPU. I would not crossfire anything under an R9 390, maybe a 380... MAYBE.

Honestly, I'd get a better single powerful gpu then cross-firing a low end gpu like the 260x.

NO DO NOT DO IT. I have two R7 260X's in crossfireX and the second card is ABSOLUTELY USELESS. It does nothing to enhance FPS. It is literally a total waste of money, I get the same performance with just one of my r7 260x's.

TRUST ME do not crossfireX you will see NO gain. I literally hate myself for buying two of these things and crossfiring them.

Simply buy a new high-end card

Thanks!

No point xfiring such low end gpus. Plus u need a better psu, motherboard and air flow as well. Upgrade to a better card. Xfire is only for higher end cards
