speakers

Go to solution Solved by vanished,

i would use them at a desk. and my speakers now have a wired volume thing that it randomly gets louder and quiter with out changing any thing

That sounds like a worn out switch/dial or possibly oxidized connections.  Not sure if that is relevant to shielding.

But at any rate, as I said the Z623 are shielded apparently.

is the Logitech Speaker System Z623 shielded?

What is your reason for concern about shielding?  Using them near a CRT?  Just curious, since it may actually not be necessary depending on your situation.

Regardless, a quick search revealed a logitech employee and an independent review both claiming that they are (at least for the satellites)

Solve your own audio issues  |  First Steps with RPi 3  |  Humidity & Condensation  |  Sleep & Hibernation  |  Overclocking RAM  |  Making Backups  |  Displays  |  4K / 8K / 16K / etc.  |  Do I need 80+ Platinum?

That has nothing to do with shielding.

Hey! New SIgnature!

I'm supposedly a person on the Internet, but you'll never know if I'm human or not ;)

It does if the volume was changing randomly due to government hacks :D
