xmp problems

Go to solution Solved by ProKoN,

yep i would increase voltage in .05 increments   1.25 1.30 1.35 1.40 1.45

I would stop at 1.45V. most kits need 1.35V to run

just disable turbo boost to rule that out

when I enable XMP and try to boot into windows 10, my pc crashes. when xmp is off, everything is fine. whats wrong with the xmp.

one or two things is happening

a- xmp values are not supplying your ram with enough voltage

b-xmp also enables intel turbo boost on most boards. your cpu may not be stable with turbo boost active and stock voltage....but this is not likely at stock settings

xmp is a suggestion not a specification
