SLI setup

I made a post yesterday and I feel I worded my intentions poorly.

A little background, I am just looking to see if I SLI would I still be able to access my 4 screen with sli enabled but surround disabled.  At the moment I am using a 3x1 setup (3 Dell u2415h 1440p via display ports and 1x 1080p asus screen via HDMI) just extending the desktop and I would like to keep it like that as 50% of my time is spent working (as I do work from home) where surround setup would not be practical as I span 5-6 chrome windows at a time across my 3 lower displays along with 1-3 minecraft instances. The 4th or (accessory display) is normally used for system monitors and media consumption anyway . I am/will be using 2 EVGA GTX 980's SC ACX 2.0 card as I already have one.

In the end I am just wanting to benefit and performance gains of SLI without surround while maintaining the same functionality of all 4 screens. :)

Thanks ahead of time to anyone that posts feedback.

If i understand what you are asking, yes you can still use all of your monitors without surround enabled when running SLI.
