290x OC result?

xnoobftw

Mine can do 1100/1360 with +0mV though different BIOS and ASIC quality affect final voltage.

But my card by default get +13mV voltage offset.

Cooler just adequate and pretty abysmal at default fan curve which can reach 90c at stock with 33C ambient temp.

Lucky you guys.

One of my 290x's hits 88*c INSTANTLY, and into the 90's with ease after minutes.. (Old house, ambient of 25*c)

Windforce cooler., Just a super hot core, and with custom fan curves too, still a hot card, has been on water with KrakenG10 and still hitting 75-80*c under extended load.

/Since replaced.

Maximums - Asus Z97-K /w i5 4690 Bclk @106.9Mhz * x39 = 4.17Ghz, 8GB of 2600Mhz DDR3,.. Gigabyte GTX970 G1-Gaming @ 1550Mhz

Dayyum.. which AIO u paired it with?

290s Tri-X cooler is superior to 290s TwinFrozr4. Originally I was planning to get either R9-290 Tri-X or Vapor-X but saw this one on promo cheaper than the 290 so i grabbed it quickly. :P

Lightning does 1250 core and 6400 effective memory

Is 1200/1500 possible without voltage increase as what @gilang01 has mentioned?

A modded bios would do 1200/1500 without voltage increases by software, because the bios already has that implemented.

Thats the only way anyone could say on THEIR bios, stock, it does 1200/1500. IMO.

I think he was using the LN2 bios, with powertune all the way up to 50%.
