xnoobftw

How is my OC result for my 290x?

I could push 1100 but dem artifacts is real xD Pulled my mem back from 1400 due to slight mem artifacts aswell!

Should the lightning OC better with or without voltage increase as compared to other cards?

I can take my 290 to 1100MHz core and 1450MHz on the memory at stock voltage. I'm at 1120MHz with some voltage. My Firestike score on the GPU is 12882, 9168 on physics cuz I have a i5 lol

If anyone asks you never saw me.

Nice! How did you get so high for mem clock speeds? I get crashes at 1400mhz D:

Comes stock with 1400, I have the vapor-x.

With some voltage you should be able to get more HHz

Ah no wonder.... Is the vapor-x more expensive than the tri-x?

I paid 300usd for my vapor two months ago, they're out of stock now. Which sucks because I want to cross fire

Yep, obviously. I will be getting an SFX 600W, that should not only give it plenty of power but also make room for my fully custom loop.

600w is more than enough. Almost overkill for one card. Your golden

Woops, forgot about that. Yea.

There aren't too many good SFX PSUs so, although it's semi-overkill it's worth it, mostly cuz it's his only option.

Well I can get the SFX-L 500W. But I want as much space as possible for my loop, it's hard enough building with an ATX PSU and it's not supposed to be there.

YEs and no its all luck of the draw under LN2 this card will do circles around any other card under ln2 If I start putting voltage into it I can get 1245 core and 1510 mem  at 1.25v core and 1.61v mem, If i really push it though i can get 1320+ core and mem struggles on it so it hits around  1550-1580. But I won't run those clocks 24/7 on air only for benching.

My MSI BIOS came with +13mV by default so should i put the slider on +0 or keep it at +13mV for the benchmark? D:

Ive seen 9 290s hit 1100mhz without voltage.

Thats usually my target oc for these.

Never bothered with memclocks on the 290 series.

Maximums - Asus Z97-K /w i5 4690 Bclk @106.9Mhz * x39 = 4.17Ghz, 8GB of 2600Mhz DDR3,.. Gigabyte GTX970 G1-Gaming @ 1550Mhz

I don't think that is w/o voltage increase.
