LED strips

waggythegeek

White or blue, RGB okay. What can you guys personally recommend?

Just a guy who peaked at building back in the days of the GTX 980. If you see me here, assume i have technical knowledge akin to a committed hobbyist builder back then. If something's changed, you'll need to tell me(nicely plz). I'm probably asking for help with the modern build scene since I have no clue what's going on.

I like UV for the cool effects it can give with UV reactive cables and stuff.

nanoxia uv 30cm led bar or the magnetic alchemy v2, i think the nanoxia's are brighter though.

This is where I get my LED strips. I've ordered multiple things from Directron and they're pretty reliable. For some reason, these strips are much more expensive everywhere else. These Silverstone ones are cheaper than Bitfenix ones and are double the length.

NZXT hue are $30 for low density lights. Go on Amazon, search "LED strips" go to the Supernight roll of high density LEDs with the controller for $24. You can get waterproof or non-waterproof. But get the 5050 version because it has a true white option that the lower ones dont.

-high density

-lower price than NZXT hue

-16.4 feet of LEDs

-comes with controller

+1 for Supernight LED strips.

No sense in spending over 10 times as much for a rebranded product.

I am one of the people he sent a review sample too, he has revised them since I tried them, and I actually really liked mine.  Would recommend for sure.

They were SUPERRRRRR bright and lit up literally everything in my case, I really liked them.  Since he has fiddled and changed em around a bit, I can only imagine they're better now.
