Go to solution Solved by madinca88,

ffs

a tv/monitor that comes standard warm will never look as good as a tv that comes standard cold regardless of how many customization sections it has

nvm i'll just go and buy one from a store and look at it directly

Hi,

I want a 32'' tv to use for console play with cold colours as the warm ones tire me out...

EDIT: title change

Then buy pretty much any TV because that's a standard feature on pretty much every TV.

Yes at a default they are all way too cold to fake super whites.

is it me or i'm the only one that is bothered by the warm vs cold light that tv's/monitors emit by default

tweaking a warm one to look cold does not yield good results... not good enough anyway

Actual TVs usually have much greater control over the color balance and color temperature compared to monitors.

They usually have an entire section of the menu where you can choose the color temperature.

Usually it's no problem. I think the problem is that you want your display to operate far out of specification.

All TVs are already far too cold in default settings.

Evidently not since i'm asking, although it's been about a year since i've been in a shop to look at tv's i doubt the standards have changed so fast and as drastically resulting in people looking at me funny when i ask about a 'warm' tv/monitor

I could be wrong...
