The 980 ACX 2.0 is available for $359.99 making this a slightly better deal for the better cooling.

What exactly is B stock again? Like refurb or open box?

B-Stock Products are units which may have small scratches, small dents, or noticeable use which are Factory Recertified to meet or exceed the performance of a new product of the same model. These products do not come with any accessories and include a 1 year limited warranty.

Gotcha.

I enjoy how the product page lists the 980 as "good" performance. It's not great or anything you know, just kinda good

Would totally go SLI if I a 1440p/4K monitor lol.

980 SLI overkill for 1080p lol.

if you have to insist you think for yourself, i'm not going to believe you.

if you are thinking about a gpu in that price range then it is definitely worth it, its about what a used 980 goes for and it comes with a 1 year warranty.  When I got mine it didnt' even look like it had ever been installed.  Still had the protective film on the clear window and the pci contacts did't have a scratch on them.  The condition might vary a bit but I've heard they are very good about sending outstanding b-stock units.  I'd probably buy another one so I could SLI but I supposedly have a used 980ti on the way so I'll have to sit this one out

I disagree. If you have a 144Hz display like I do, that horsepower can be put to good use.

WOW this is the only reason to buy a 980 over a R9 390X the 980 is like 60$ cheaper but the 390X can out perform the 980 in some cases

That can't be the only reason. The 980 reference cooler looks soo good too cmon.

I just ordered the gtx980 ($374) shipping included,  I hope the refurb EVGA sends me, looks brand spanking new/working one.  I thought Pascal was going to be released early next year but now I hear it will be released 3QT or early 2017.  I just can't freaking wait any longer.  I have been playing the waiting game for far too long.  I need something more powerful than my current gtx 670 SC 4gb edition.  Also, the 980ti is too expensive at the moment, So! I decided to go for cheap 980 which will serve me nicely until pascal refresh.  Or,  I might just get another one and go sli down the road...we'll see.

the 980 is sold out, that was fast!

always is! The good cards on b stock are really short lived. Last time there were 3 or 4 980's and all but the reference sold out not 15 minutes after i looked at the page
