I just bought the rest of my parts for my PC (Already having some) yesterday on Newegg. I told my brother, and he told me that I should've waited for Cyber Monday to buy them which is about a month and a half away.

 

Personally I don't think I could've waited that long as I have been waiting for a couple months already, but do you guys think it would've been worth it to wait for Cyber Monday?

Its up to you if its WORTH the wait, some are more patient than others and will wait for a better deal

Not if last year is any indication.  Lately Cyber Mondays have been nothing but the overstock that didn't sell on Black Friday.  Even then, Black Friday has basically turned into Black Thursday, and most of the good Black Friday deals are cleaned out by end of day Thursday.  So, in regards to the piece of marketing genius known as Black Friday and Cyber Monday, to hell with em.  

Oh signature time!  It's on now, gonna give ya somethin snarky and clever and think way too hard about this because I'm really concerned about what people on the internet think of me.  Better google some good quotes to put in here too.....oh wait I'm not a loser.

This was a question that I had after reading @Freeeeese post, I'm now curious about how low the prices get for CPUs, mobos, SSDs, and cases. Specifically on Newegg and/or Amazon.

CPUs not so much. Sometimes motherboards, don't count on it.

Mostly SSDs which you can always buy and put in your PC.

Sometimes cases.

Ram comes down.

You will find a few GPUs

At least the SSDs come down though, I think I'm gonna buy an 250GB 850-Evo bc I need more storage so maybe I'll just wait then.

I think we still have quite some time before those come out. The 850 series already reaches SATA III bandwidth limits.

well last year i got a 1080p moniter for like $120 and it was like $400 but it was like the first 100 people to buy got it that cheap

It's coming soon... One month or less.

I'm pretty sure they are strictly going to be M.2 or PCI-E. SATA needs to get a grip or they are going to die out eventually.

I don't think it's worth it honestly. If you're chasing the next deal you'll never get your PC built as tech prices drop as the year rolls on.
