Should i...

build a 600$ folding PC? 

or donate 600$ to cancer research

If you don't need another PC, just donate.

I'd opt for the $600 folding PC, so you can use it for other things as well. 

i already have a pc for gaming

dont really need another one

but cost wise, for the electricity of folding and everything, is it better to fold or donate?

If you do decide to donate, don't do it until you find out exactly where your money is going. Some organizations are shady at best and will just eat your money.

but cost wise, for the electricity of folding and everything, is it better to fold or donate?

Do you leave your gaming PC 24/7 folding? If not, just use the money to pay the electricity costs of letting it on.

 

If you already do, how about you use that money to upgrade your GPU to a killer one, improving your gaming experience AND giving a nice boost to the folding potential?

 

 

Building a PC from scratch is very inefficient, as you have to waste money towards a case, PSU, HD, RAM and motherboard, which don't help F@H in any way.

OR i could program a peice of code that installs itself secretly in the back of your computer and lightly folds to the LTT team... but.... ya know...

ive already helped myself enough

i have a radeon r9 270x GPU 4GB version

its good enough
