List of x99 motherboards that have m.2 slots ON the board

Title basically says it. Was looking at z170 board with dual m.2 slots but concered how it might effect the pci lanes if both are used with sli set up so im trying to find an x99 board with dual m.2 slots built on to the board.

Asking for any and all x99 boards with a single OR dual m.2 slots built in....

Bonus if there is a all white or all black color MB out there with dual m.2 that are pci based not sata based

Best bang for the buck X99 gaming mobo is the ASRock X99X Killer and it does feature a m2 slot. It's quality made and has lots of features, it's also pretty well-priced.

I would really like 2 of them, if im gonna do a full on build then i want the fasted raid i can get, ill be looking at 2 of the 950 pros 512gb

Edit: looking at possible a board with a single full 32gb/s m.2 and then using an adapter for the 2nd and putting it in a pci slot

Just cause of who i am... i HATE having multiple drives in my OS... i dont want a small OS drive and then a storage drive.... just a single mass raid 0 and 1tb will be enough for me

a m.2 plugged straight into the m.2 slot is still held back by the sata 6 gb if you get a pci adapter it will make your m.2 extremely fast.

I just saw the gigabyte x99 soc and saw corsair makes orange ram for it, i could then use dual pci adapters for the dual m.2 drives and still have my 980ti sli

Not really. It depends on the design of the M.2 Slot and the drive you plug in. But in general terms, you are wrong, because unlike mSATA, M.2 uses PCIe lanes. It's basically a PCIe slot with a different ending. The M.2 Slot on my ASRock X99 board pushes 32Gb/s, since it is a PCIe Gen3 4x m.2 socket.
