Best Laptop for Gaming and College / High school

TheLeagueGamer

So I have been searching for a laptop on amazon and the best one I have found with decent battery life and hitting power was the Razer Blade 2015, unfortunately when converted to New Zealand dollars + tax that equaled $5000, No thanks. So my options have narrowed down to the Macbook Pro 15" Offering the Best performance with a 6+ hour battery life while being thin, But I think there is better So can someone find a laptop on Amazon for $1500USD That is under 1 inch in width, having 6+ hours of power and being able to outperform the Intel iris pro 5200 of the Macbook

Forgot to add, I want to be able to go to class and use it normally with Light gaming in between but heavy gaming when I get home with Highish graphics on new games

Yea I know the pro is 9 hours but I'm saying I can manage if it's 6 hours or so.

well the GS laptops will definitely last 6 hours browsing the web, but not gaming

pretty much no laptop will last 6 hours when gaming, unless its as low power as a macbook pro with no GPU

That isn't a problem since most of my gaming with be at home next to a charger

But what Msi laptop is powerful, thinner than 1 inch and around $1500usd on Amazon

just look at their GS series, they are all about 0.8" thick

pick the screen size you like

then choose the specs that fit your budget

I would actually suggest this.

Because I don't know of any Clevo resellers in New Zealand, so this one is from Australia. It may exceed your budget by a little, but I can tell you that this is a really good machine. Features 3 cooling fans, 970M, 6700HQ, 4 RAM slots for DDR4 SODIMM, 2 M.2 PCIe slots for SSDs (including SATA based ones), 2 regular HDD SATA slots, and about 2.5kg at 25mm thick.

Frost | 7700K @ 4.9GHz 1.36v, delidded | Asus DUAL GTX 1060 6GB OC | Corsair LPX 16GB DDR4 2800MHz | Samsung 960 EVO 250GB SSD + Toshiba 1TB HDD + Toshiba 2TB HDD + Samsung 860 EVO 1TB SSD for macOS | Asus PRIME Z270-A | Fractal Design Celsius S24 | Seasonic M12-II 620W PSU | Corsair 400C White | NZXT Hue+

Samsung Galaxy S8 | Stock

Ticwatch E (Black) | Ticwatch Brown Leather Strap

The thing is I have a sister who lives in Australia so no problem but I found a 2014 Razer Blade for the same price as the Metabox. The Question is, is the extra 500grams and the extra 1.5cm which I'm going to using this a portable rig, and cpubenchmark.net says I lost around 400 on the score on the Metabox and a boost of around 10-20fps on notebookcheck.net

Some times, these CPU benchmarks cannot be trusted too much. The 6700HQ is definitely better than the 4702HQ.
