Wait what?, why is Mexico above the US?, as far as I know we have crap LTE Internet here lol.

I blame the Midwest for bringing down the national average lol, try getting a data connection out in Nebraska, Kansas, or Wyoming. Not gonna happen lol

Australia has like one of the best mobile instrusture for a first world country, although that can't be said for those isps like Tesltra.

The fact that INDIA has a better mbps (even though it's very marginal increase) still surprises me.

I'm in Croatia and I'm surprised by this chart. But anyway, who cares when there are caps for that. What I want is fiber already and for normal price.

 

Oh it's not that bad here. Hell I was in some village near Primošten last year and was getting constant 22 Mbps and I didn't know we had 4G in such locations. And you can easily get 30 in a lot of places. Our architecture is getting constantly upgraded. For instance, here you go.  :) Also I'm on Vip and this is for HT. 

The ability to google properly is a skill of its own.

Huh, the UK is about halfway up the list, and yet the only place I can get 4G within 50 miles of my home is a small 400 yard strip of road about a mile outside of Truro, where there is literally nothing of interest except a small pokey roundabout that gets clogged with traffic as soon as more than 2 cars attempt to navigate it. Even 3G is almost nonexistant in my area, and in some areas even a basic network connection for phone calls isn't even available.

It's not as bad as say India, but hell I'd take a decent 3G connection right now, one that worked at even just 3Mb/s, never mind the 100+Mb/s some of you are getting. Oh and that 4G connection, I would say it reaches about 8Mb/s, I'm not sure though because I'm never there long enough to test it, but if I get the chance I'll definitely do that, cause I'm curious as to how fast so-called 4G actually is there.

Ja sam na 4G u HT i je super ali 2GB/m je skupo. Mobilni internet je jednostavno tuga iz tog razloga.

Stvar je sto zelim optiku a problem je sto je pokrivenost ogranicena, a zivim u Splitu i to sto kod vecine nije paralelna ni blizu a i cijena je visoka. :(

I pay 140 kn/m to Vip and get 4GB of 4G, I had luck since it was a promo thing. I want fiber as well, got VDSL about a week ago and life is much easier, and I hope I'll be able to get fiber in a year or so.

Is UK really that expensive? I would have thought it to be closer to our prices in Finland where I pay 23€ for unlimited LTE with real world speeds of around 70mbps (advertised as 150Mbps)

I pay £13 (sim only) for unlimited data. Guess it depends on network and contract.

Connection: 200mbps / 12mbps 5Ghz wifi

That's because we're a pack of whingers who always think we have it bad. In fact, Netflix have said that Australia is nowhere near as bad as we think it is, we're actually pretty close to US average in terms of speed (for Netflix at least).

LTE networks in the US are probably far more saturated than just about anywhere else. We've got 11yr olds here with the latest iPhone stuck to their grill, texting, facebooking and Youtubing 24/7. That said, I've seen anything from 15-40 down and 15-40 up at any given time regardless of peak or off-peak.

 

I ran Speedtest just now and got 26 down, and this is during peak hours here right now. 

 

I have plenty of complaints about our ISP's, but LTE speeds ain't one of them.

Pretty sure Australia is MUCH closer to #1 than this list shows.

 

Edit: Actually, Australia was ranked 5th in 2013. So maybe this list isn't that inaccurate.

One of the downsides of having a large population spread out in a large country.  Canada, and Australia are similar if not bigger in size but their populations are smaller and aren't nearly as spread out as they are here.  Still it's no excuse for us to be lagging so much.

 

While the US is lagging in the speed test I imagine we have more coverage in more areas than some of the countries that are beating us.

 

At my sister's house I get 4g LTE in the middle of a corn field in rural, VA for instance. 

 

 

Wait what?, why is Mexico above the US?, as far as I know we have crap LTE Internet here lol.

See my above comment about coverage in more places.  It's only speculation though.

If you are talking saturation wouldn't China have the most?  They aren't that far ahead, but I would think they were last if we are talking saturation of networks.
