embarrassing gaming confession.

hsm

ive been into pc's for a few years but, the last time i completed a game, or even attempted to, was super mario bros wii in 2009. yup, the last time i completed a video game was almost 7 years ago. in fact the only two games ive ever completed were that and half life 2. its amazing to see how much video games have evolved in the last few years, especially with AI. ive just been putting off gaming for a long time because its a pretty expensive hobby for someone my age. ive been thinking the best way is just to pick up an xbox one for like $280.

Fallout 4

I played a lot of MySims on the Wii when I was younger.

It took me over a year to get to DMG in CS, granted there were times where I would drop the game for a good chunk of time, but still.

Most games these days don't have any 'finish' point, you can continue playing until you get completely bored.

Especially with PC games.

I feel you OP. Luckily I have a huge stock of games that I built up as a kid to keep me occupied when I don't have anything new to play.

Whats more embarrassing is that I spent a ton of money on a super powerful gaming build hoping to play the shit out of No Man's Sky, only to be met with a huge fuck you at e3 and no release date in sight. So I use it to play Dark Souls and Sonic Adventure. Really taking advantage of that horsepower...

Wait, you don't complete the games you play? I don't mean 100% them, just actually go from start to finish in the "storyline" if there's one ?

If a game doesn't interest me, I will barely even play it, like Witcher 3.. say what you will, it's a gorgeous game and all. But it's missing that "something" that would make me want to finish it.

But if I'm interested in it, I'll at least finish the storyline, without caring for the side quests.

Well, I guess the last game I completed was Evoland 2. Great little game, almost nothing like the original Evoland, as it actually has a story this time around.

CPU: AMD Ryzen 3700x / GPU: Asus Radeon RX 6750XT OC 12GB / RAM: Corsair Vengeance LPX 2x8GB DDR4-3200

An embarrasing gaming confession is that I was about 80 hours into Witcher 3, I have the free version that came from buying a 970 from newegg, it was a GOG galaxy key not a key from steam. I didn't know GOG did not backed up my saves to their servers. I formatted my computer and as soon as I did I tried going back to where I'd left the game and surprise, START FROM ZERO. I didn't do it tho, I just left the game altogether and haven't touched it since. I really loved that game but I won't play it again.

No release date, and no announcement of a release date. The dude basically said "Yeah, I was going to tell you guys when this game is coming out, but turns out I can't."

Apparently there is something happening in October regarding the game. HOPEFULLY a release date or at least a release window will be confirmed, but RIP 2015 release. I will be utterly shocked if they push it out before the end of the year.

I had finished Fallout 3 and was on my second playthrough when I figured out there was a pipboy light.

Wow that is embarrassing, but also kind of impressive.

Guys i have a problem I finished the game TWICE in 17 hours. I'm terrible at finding side quests. I did that drug thingy in the subway and the quests at that children cave and probably a few more. Any suggestions where to find more quests?

What's a quest? I half kid. If there's a single NPC still alive or conscious in your game over the age of 16, you're not doing it right.

If anyone asks you never saw me.

My embarrassing gaming confession is that I didn't own Skyrim until several months ago, and I still haven't played it more than once.

Forgive me, Father Gaben, for I have sinned.

Poke your nose into things that you probably shouldn't, and you'll either find a good sidequest or get rekt by a Deathclaw

Just explore different area's and talk to different NPC's, you'll find quests or other area's soon enough.
