I sold my 3DS and bought a green screen like last summer. I owned like three games for 3DS. I only got it for OOT. I have no idea if there are really any good games for it anymore. Other than Smash.

Fire Emblem Awakening, Ocarina of Time if you're into Zelda and Kingdom Hearts is good on 3DS I think,

Fire Emblem: Awakening, Shin Megami Tensei 4, Devil Survivor overclocked, Devil Survivor 2, Tales of the Abyss, Bravely Default, Etrian Odyssey series, MH3U. It has a lot, these are just a few of them. I highly recommend Fire Emblem: Awakening, Shin Megami Tensei 4, and Tales of the Abyss.

Fire Emblem: Awakening is a turn based tactics game. Instead of just battle after battle, it has a nice map movement system allowing you to revisit places, do side quests, or advance the main story at your leisure, as well as a nice support system between characters. It has DLC if you want to add more to the game, though the is already a substantial amount of content there.

Shin Megami Tensei 4 is a more standard jrpg. You can have a party of up to 4, the party consists of you and up to three monsters that you've tamed. You can also fuse monsters into better ones. It's quite fun but it isn't a very noob friendly game though, so if you want a challenge, this is perfect for you, if not, it doesn't tend to like casual play.

Tales of the Abyss is a jrpg with a twist. Most things function like you would see in a FF game, getting equipment, map movement, etc.  is just like a standard rpg. There aren't random battles though, the enemies appear on the map in the level or overworld, so you can avoid battles if you want to. The other thing that's different is the combat system, it isn't turn or time based like other games, it plays out more like a fighting game. Your party and your enemies are put in a set circular area and are free to move and attack as you please.

You know what's easier than buying and building a brand new PC? Petty larceny!
If you're worried about getting caught, here's a trick: Only steal one part at a time. Plenty of people will call the cops because somebody stole their computer -- nobody calls the cops because they're "pretty sure the dirty-bathrobe guy from next door jacked my heat sink."

Bravely Default. Easily one of the best games I've ever played. Fire Emblem: Awakening is also very good.

Yes.  Fire Emblem Awakening is one of the best choices you can make for the 3DS.  On the other hand Shin Megami Tensei can get quite brutal quite fast, so beware.  On the opposite side of the spectrum you have Rune Factory 4.  Lovely game, and charming to say in the least.

Tales of they Abyss, Kingdom Hearts Dream Drop Distance, Bravely Default, coming next year is Bravely Second. I'm sure I'm missing some good ones. If you're also looking for some VC games on 3DS, there's Lufia 3 and while Zelda isn't really consider an RPG, but you got pretty much all the GBC zelda's and NES zeldas, along with A Link Between Worlds and OoT 3D and Majora's Mask 3D
