I sometimes play it for fun, but iz gets to boring after some time if you can't play with friends or with a clan.

Yeah thats the problem. The grind is so terrible and none of my friends are willing to even give it a shot so I'm looking for some people to break up the monotony of the Myogi to Kongo grind

I've got it, and hop on for like 1 or 2 co-op games every so often. but in exactly the same way as World of Tanks, once you hit tier 4...dat grind really starts to kick in.

So far the least painful was the American Cruisers. I'm at the Cleveland now but I got tired of its OP-ness. I'm bad at DDs, I feel bad being bad at CVs even though im not that terrible. American BBs are basically a fat man with a shotgun...very American now that I think about it. And apparently I'm just bad at playing IJN ships

I play pretty much anything, have up to T6 IJN DD, T6 US BB, T7 US Cruiser and the first US CV. Hit me up on Skype if you want a game or two, easiest way to get hold of me. Can play anything lower than my current ranks if need be.

Personally I really like it. The progression's gotten a bit grindy, but I still feel like the matches are fun

I felt the progression to be super grindy personally. And for me the more I played the less fun I had because you have to work so much harder when you play solo. Even if your team communicates there's still a gap which is why I stopped trying to win games haha

Lol, I guess your right. It may have been better if they didn't make it free to play and still had premiums. That way they wouldn't have to make the progression so grindy... As far as I'm aware, you couldn't even speed it up with in game purchases
