When you said Power Cell...  I was thinking of batteries :D

For the Best builds and Price lists here is a world where many points of the price have been predefined already for your convenience!

The Xeon E3 1231 V3 IS BETTER Than the Core i5 4690K and a Significantly better value for the non-overclockers or value shoppers.

The OS is like a kind food, Try it before saying if you like it or don't.

how can I take part in sponsored builds? I have a great amount of fun building computers, and doing case mods, ect.

Hi iamdarkoshi If you have a unique PC build, case mod, and your looking for sponsors all you can do is rite to who ever you would like to have sponsor you, and ask them.

Cheers, Ken.

I can under stand that. I guess in some sense that's what I'm aiming for, I want it to look like it will power a space ship, like some thing you would see in star wars, or star citizen. that's the look I'm going for.. :)

This would be a cool PC build :)  Just... forget about a custom mod, instead build a custom case!

Even though this is only my second Case Mod, I have been using ASUS Motherboards for many many years. I have always found them to be well priced and having lots of great features.
And today is no exception. ASUS continue to add all the goods to there Motherboards and GPU's, Even for there low to mid range hardware you still feel you are getting more for less.
As you will see below "Small" can still make a big impact and still play hard. And "Colour" is not Black or White its a shade of what your Imagination can do with it.

Below are two of ASUS products that I will be using for this build from ASUS who I thank for helping me with my second case mod.

The Asus H97I-PLUS Mini ITX LGA1150 Motherboard and the ASUS TURBO GEFORCE GTX 960 OC Edition

The Asus H97I-PLUS Mini ITX LGA1150 Motherboard
This will be the first time using a board of this size. I find it hard to believe that something so small can still deliver so much. Just thinking of the doors for case modding this Motherboard has opened up for the different kinds of build that can now be done, that would have been imposable before. :)

Unbeknown to me was this White TURBO GTX 960 OC Edition. The staff at ASUS could see what my new build was all about. And this White Knight is the perfect look for this build.

The GPU back will be seen from the outside of the case as well. For the air intake.

I would love to go deep into the specs of this GPU. But I will leave that to the pro's at ASUS.
here is where you will find all you need to know about the ASUS TURBO GTX 960 OC Edition.

http://rog.asus.com/428182015/gaming-graphics-cards-2/unboxing-asus-gtx-960-turbo-special-edition/

To start off with I'm doing the out side water blocks/res there will be 6 in all three at the top and three at the bottom. All 6 will be part of the cooling loop.

They will be fitted to the out side of the case, The three on top will be linked the one's on the bottom. So one top one will link to one bottom one, with 3x 5mm clear tubes and so on. on the back of each block will be one fitting that go's to a stand 1/2 mantel bent loop. back to one of the other blocks and keeps going.  Lets just call the outer blocks (Loop rails.)

So below I have started a quick step by step.
for the blocks, after ill be adding the 3x 5mm tubes to the 2x blocks to make one (Loop Rail.) and this will be done 3 times.

Will add more soon for the Loop rails. Still working hard on the Vector files for the case parts as well. And still working my full time job. Sleep! what is that I ask. :)  But I have 10 days off after next week. For more Modding.

So what I have been going is working on the Motherboard armor and the back plate IO shield that will lock onto the Motherboard armor, Still need to make a hole for the CPU. but still not sure what CPU block will be used.

Hope you can see where I'm going with what I have done so far.

Hello again.

I have started working on the center res mount. So far I have made the casing, added some blue LED's, put some steel mesh around it. Still need to add a small electric motor to turn the black cover at the bottom. to create a rotation of light in side the case. Once that is done i will starting working on the rest of the res mount. And then add the rest of the trimmings.

I would like to say thanks to forum member "primesuspect" for selling me the 400mm Res.  it will be a Big help, Cheers.

The CNC parts are now done, And are now being put together.

Along with some of the hardware that will now be test fitted to the case.

Then all the side pillars cut to size and will be added for the height, The Pillars will be box like to hide all the things you gust don't want to be seen running from the top of the case to the bottom. MOBO tray has been made as well but still needs to be vented on the back.

Hope you like it so far, Would love to know what you think. :)

The motherboard and IO cover looks great! Do you plan on keeping that acrylic piece transparent, and will you add lights? :o

Thanks Rumikarimu, Yes staying transparent. And black lights will be used. :)

Thanks iamdarkyoshi, :)

I have been working with autodesk inventor since I was 13, and I still have a license to use any of their CAD software. Its very unfortunate that acrylic is SO expensive, especially routed or laser cut! If it was cheaper, I would have made plenty of custom cased by now...

Yes can be pricey. And takes time to design and then cut out and build.

One more update for today.

Rad's & all 6 fans are fitted as well as the Res, It's now hanging from the top as well.

So this is looking pretty interesting. What made you want to make a build like this?

Hi mjKneafsey

Well my firstcase mod was this Fallout 4 case. http://linustechtips.com/main/topic/421442-project-fallout-4-zen-modz/

I changed what I could with out going nuts. Well maybe it did go nuts with it. But for me it was going to be a hard case to top.

And I wanted to show that I can change it up.

I mostly wanted to make something that no one has ever seen before and the only way I could think of doing that was to make one that no one has or even using the same shape you see in every build, And a round case is not something you can not just go into shop and by, All case's modded or not as you all know are square or rectangle. And have been done and redone, So the choice was easy. Just make it round and make it work.

Oh and make it look Good! :)

Cheers, Ken.
