I am looking for the best AMD gaming pc that will handle 16 GB of RAM

RedstoneUFO

I love AMD. I have an older laptop with AMD that runs better than my new laptop with Intel. I am hunting for a good desktop PC now. One that is cheap and will run 16 GB about average. I am wanting to take full advantage on all the PC resources.

Thanks,

RedstoneUFO

Grab one on the A88X platform.  The A10-7870k is the latest CPU.

Although your emphasis on RAM is way over rated.

Please spend as much time writing your question, as you want me to spend responding to it.  Take some time, and explain your issue, please!

Max budget is 700 minus any type of storage

with this budget, you can do a nice overclockable I5.

i know AMD makes good budget chips, but for gaming specifically single-core performance is more important than core count.

and every individual cpu is different, it is called the silicon lottery. sometimes you win and get an awesome chip that will OC to awesome speeds, sometimes you dont

"good amd laptop"

Well there are quite a few. Believe it or not, it's much better to get an APU + AMD GPU in a laptop, you will get more performance than an Intel CPU and Intel HD or low end Nvidia card. On the low-mid range laptops, this makes a lot of sense. Trust me, I've seen and used quite a few and this is coming from someone that hasn't owned an AMD CPU since the Phenom II days in 2009. :)
