I currently am using my 22(ish) inch Toshiba TV as my main monitor hooked up through HDMI with it on PC and GAME mode with the rest of the settings at factory default.

I play CSGO and I have found it quite hard to be able to spot people in dark places. (For example it is hard for me to make out the terrorists pushing A Ramp on Mirage, and I REALLY have a bad time seeing people on cache). I know I may not have the best eyesight (my left eye being 20/20 with my right eye being 20/200 and just barely legally colour-blind) but I have been able to play at my friend's place on his BenQ monitor just fine. I run CSGO with the brightness on 1.6 (the highest setting) and it on Television mode which seems to make it brighter.

What I want to know is if there are any settings that I can change in the nvidia control panel or on my TV itself to make things like these more visible.

Thanks in advance!

I guess you could bring up the contrast and sharpness but this is one of the reasons why TV's just aren't meant for PC gaming.

Its fine for most gaming just CSgo competitive wouldn't be recommended, however I doubt he is Pro so it really shouldn't matter, and I just noticed he set the brightness up already and feel dumb

Yeeah, i'm currently saving up to get one of those BenQ monitors that my friend has. Which with the low response time, 144hz, and picture quality. That thing was amazing compared to my scrub TV.
