Anyone know this?

CJ Chua

I'm a EDM fan but I don't know how to count BPM (Beats Per Minute) and don't know what's the list of the genre. Anyone help me here?

BPM changes all the time, there's no specific bpm for EDM at all. You can have 110bpm or 170bpm, it's all the same, EDM.

And you don't really count it, you can ballpark if you know your stuff, but you use software to find bpm.

Good luck counting the BPM throughout a song. It can variy a lot. The best way is to analyse a track in dedicated software.

I think Audacity can do it, but I'm not completly sure.

And why does it matter anyway? If you enjoy the music, just enjoy it.

I don't know what you mean with "list of the genre", but here is Wikipedia's try at listing all the subgenres of EDM: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_electronic_music_genres
