Problems Installing Windows 7 From USB Stick

WonykMango

Hey guys,

I am trying to install Windows 7 from a USB key. I have an Asus Z170-A as my motherboard. When I boot up it starts running the installer but then it gives me the error CD/DVD drive is missing. I dont have a dvd drive as I have the Fractal Define S as my case. Anyone know a work around for this?

Thanks!

Remount the iso. Sometimes I find that for some reason it just doesn't work. Usually I just Remount it. And it works.

I also use Windows USB mounting program

Use a USB 2.0 port/drive. Pretty sure win7 doesn't like USB 3.0
