Codename "Starter Pack" x99 sub-1.5k build plans

Hey LTT,

I have been absent from this awesome community for little bit, trying to collect my life; starting my last year of high school, doing upgrades to my now 1.5k PC, and I am now hit with a dilemma. IM BORED

I'm not talking like just usual bored because I have nothing to do, or do I? I loved building my current PC, with it's MSI and Red theme, to it's 12GB and crossfire dream.

But after accomplishing that, I am bored of it. I love it, and it plays all my favorite games, but I can never be truly happy unless I am elbow deep inside a computer. Mine doesn't need anything else.

So this is where I talk about code name, "Starter Pack". I have plans, since I am restricted to having one PC at a time by the owner of my house, my grandmother, to sell my beautiful PC I have, and set for a new feat. An affordable x99 gaming setup.

The reason for the name Starter Pack is quite what it means, a "Starter Pack" for x99 enthusiasts. And since I now have an opportunity to use the resources I have to record it, I might as well try and do a build log. I have never done one, and am fascinated by the art of showing off a build as it happens. But I need my current setup for rendering, recording, etc.

So I guess it's time to start saving for the parts. I am looking at about 1.3k give or take when it is all set and done. and if I can quickly sell my current setup, and get everything rolling, I can have the new PC up and ready to edit the build log ASAP.

Well, I am glad I have this off my chest, seems like the only people who would care to read or listen are on LTT, noone I know even comprehend how to remove a program from thier computer, let alone understand what I am talking about here.

For the TL;DR guys, here you go.:https://pcpartpicker.com/user/Nerd4L1F3/saved/#view=PNpkcf

I want to go for the nice blue/black/white accent colour scheme. It's different to me.

There you guys go, and If you guys know of any ways I can make this build any better without breaking the bank, I will take it all in.

I have some of the parts already. Like if I can, I might hold onto the h100i gtx that is currently in my PC, and stick it into this one. I have an H75 to put in my current if I sell it off to a good owner.

And I already have about 10TB worth of drive space. so I will probably have a bunch haha.

ah presumed from your post you were selling your old pc as a block not parts or swapping bits in and out

I was inspired to make this list after seeing pualshardware's video build log. I love it to bits, and wish I could already have it built...yesterday. I get sick knowing I can't do this as my dream career, I am currently having butterflies in my stomach thinking about it. is that normal?

Ah, yes, I can see why you would presume this. But I want to do whatever I can to save on time. If it were up to me even, I would want to keep my current majestic beast, but sacrifices are made everyday. I currently have it on craigslist in the USA, and I feel sick thinking of letting it go. :(

Definately. Computer's are like girls. The best ones have the best on the inside. And are sometimes hot, too.
