New 1080p monitor with good Adobe coverage?

Hey guys,

Just wanted to get your advice on what monitor I should get within the $350-400 budget that has good adobe coverage and is suited for editing video?
I prefer 24-27 inch monitors.

Hope you can help me!

You want a true 8 bit or 10 bit panel (without FRC/hi-FRC).   A true 10 bit panel will be highly preferred and will give you exactly what you want.  Might be way out of your price range, though.

Once you find one, you will then need a video card that can output 10 bit color....

Hey there,

I actually never post on forums but I decided to finally make an account because I faced very similar problems to you.

I also wanted to pick a very nice monitor, because, well basically, it's the only thing that you really see from what goes on, so it is arguably the most important component. But i didn't know much about them and didn't know what to choose. I ended up with a photo editing monitor because I do a lot of editing and I read about them. They seemed the best monitors overall. Nice, crisp colors etc. Anyway, I found a nice article that helped me pick my monitor and taught me all about them.

If interested you can check it out here: http://thetechplanet.net/best-monitor-for-photo-editing/

Hope I was helpful :)
