 So I've seen artifact-like things in Chivalry and Crysis 2 and now ran OCCT error-check for 30 minutes. 0 Errors. Can games cause such behaviour? I know some other people been complaining about black things flashing in chivalry. It's just the game's issue?

you might have the clock on your GPU too high. Lower it, and then try and play it again.

Hmm. That makes it more difficult. Would you be able to take a screencapture of one? You can use Raptr to have basically no impact on gaming, it's the AMD version of shadowplay.

games can artifact yes, the best way to check if its the gpu or not is firestrike.

A guy in-chat told me of a similar issue and a forum on OC3D said something about this being an issue with DX9 and that game - lot's of people been having it.

Crysis 2 - I just get minor flickering.

deffo not the gpu then, dont worry about it man. ive had artifacting on skyrim before, was because of vsync being off.

Yeah - the main reason I suspected it was cause GPU-Z was reading weird voltage spikes occasionally of 1.442V but then I found 2 guys with 3 other 7900-series cards with such an issue - I guess it could be broken cards but the chance of a person building a CF rig and getting 2 identically broken cards is 1 in a 1000 so I dismissed that after Aida64 and HWmonitor both read 1.250 as max and the usual is 1.1

That and firefox bugging which it has also apparently done to a friend's 280X so I guess that's that.

I also have artifacting in alot of games, but my artifacting is on grasses, trees and other foliage, and foliage only, nothing else. 

I have it in basically every new game, but I learned to live with it.
