Dell U2515H

TobyReichelt

Hey there.

I'm looking at buying a new 1440p monitor for my setup.

The Dell U2515H (http://amzn.to/1UrFsiI) is one particular monitor I'm looking at getting, as my budget is roughly this.

However, I do have a question that I'm hoping you can answer.

Is this monitor good for gaming? I see that the response time is 8MS. The monitor I currently use is the LG23EA63 - that has a response time of only 5MS.

I play CSGO, mainly; and we're talking a lot of CSGO. As I play it competitively and I need a quick response time, will 8MS affect me significantly?

If there is another monitor at 1440p that is better, if not equal to the Dell U2515H for a similar price then please state.

Many thanks.

8ms will do nothing. It will be the same as your old monitor. Just look better.

But if you really want 5ms then you could look at the PB258Q. Basically identical specs but they claim a slightly faster response. It is $320 from NewEgg

Have that same panel overclocked to 80hz as well.

Runs great and looks amazing it's also noted for low input lag and btw response time means nothing.

Good review
