you should be telling us if your motherboard can overclock or not. if you go into the bios and see if you can increase the fsb speed.

That CPU is ancient and I highly doubt you can find a replacement motherboard.

Watercooling that would be a waste of time and money. You're better off upgrading altogether than hassle with overclocking that

Don't watercool just upgrade to a better CPU and motherboard and I wouldn't overclock because it's ECS

Read your motherboard manual first. That should answer your question.

I got the user guide @Jumper118

good. have you read it? did it say anything about changing the front side bus speed/frequency?

@Jumper118 Yeah you can, I went through the effort of finding a google image and there are basic voltage and bus speed options.

however it's g31 so I'd expect no more than the 1333mhz FSB so there's some increase to be had from the stock 1066 to 1333. keep temps below 70c on the core (Try realtemp) and don't watercool it considering a watercooler is worth more than that board and cpu combined.

And for those who say don't overclock on ECS :P

..... and I wants to overclock my processor from 2.7-3.4/6/7GHz .....

Just no way in heck, I'm not sure if it supports overclocking or not, but I will say this, That cpu isn't ever going to be able to go above 4, I'm not sure, I've never seen a graph, but with watercooling..  well you'll find out what area you can clock it to. But just not 6/7ghz. Just. No. That will fry your mobo/cpu(Oh wait, that was fixed in processors in the early 2000's :P). But don't try those SUPER high speeds xD.

MOTHERBOARD: some Asus motherboard CPU: I3-4130 GPU: Gigabyte(?) GT-1030 RAM: 8GB G.SKILL SNIPER 1600MHZ RAM + 4GB AMD ram PSU: Corsair CX450 CASE: Corsair Spec-03 OS: Win 10 64 bit Keyboard: Logitech G510s Mouse: Corsair G300s Camera: Canon EOS Rebel T5

your motherboard while it capable to handle 1333mhz cpu it doesn't have OC feature (or as far as I know because G31 is not featured any of those things)

my E5200 (2.5Ghz) paired with HD 5570 and it still handling dota2 on daily basis

on side note, I'm able to overclock the CPU easily with P35 chipset board, I'm using http://www.gigabyte.com/products/product-page.aspx?pid=2748#ov, my limitation is crappy PSU that I pair with this machine. but then again, it doesn't matter even with stock speed.

get a better GPU, just save it because getting that GPU that you listed won't make huge boost at all.

with better GPU you still capable to play recent games at least with decent performance.

And please tell me when to use(or at what temperature) water cooling.

You'd spend the money on watercooling which you could invest in at least a new Athlon x4.

I have no idea if your Pentium is oc'able, probably not though.
