Anyway to restore that includes changes made to files (such as text files)?

hi guys

 

i was modding my skyrim and changed a couple ini settings and my game is pretty much fucked lol.

 

i searched for about 3 hours trying to find a solution but only got some that are "Deal with it"...

 

So i was wondering if there is a way to revert my computer and its files back to a state where everything including the files would be reverted?

 

 

Main PC: 4690k // Z97 // R9 280 3GB // 8gb Ram // CM Elite 430 Case // 750 EVGA B PSU // 1TB HDD

 

Living Room "Console" PC: FX 8350 // 990a SLI Krait // R7 360 // 8gb Ram // HAF 912 // 750 EVGA B PSU // 1TB HDD

 

Future Plans:

find a 2nd monitor at a pawn shop

Sell/giveaway R7 360, move r9 280 into console PC, buy a better GPU for main PC.

i havea non steam version, will that still work?

Previous Versions has saved me a lot with modding.

Backup the game before modding, and turn Previous Versions on!

 

(Windows 8,8.1 and 10 don't have it on by default)
