Compatible?

Chiperd
Go to solution Solved by EcoBoost,

Knew that much but been reading that the i7-5820k isn't compatible with 3300 ram

It will downclock the RAM to the highest it supports (which I don't know off the top of my head) but I'm pretty sure you can get to 3300 with XMP

So i'm building a pc and im unsure if all of this is compatible and I would like to know before I buy something I can't use

Thanks for all replies!

It's an Intel feature called Xtreme Memory Profile. Essentially you enable it via the press of a button within the UEFI and it automatically overclocks your memory.
