It will be a bit more than the ACER, so about £1050 because of the stand

Well ASUS does terrible QC on monitors and most of them have problems, also their customer service is terrible, also the ASUS PG348Q does not come out this year, it will be about Q2 2016, so I am going with the ACER X34 as it comes out at the start of October,

It is being said to come out at the start of 2016 from a few IFA 2015 videos and posts, I don't know where he heard Q2 of 2016 though. And there has been no official word on pricing, it could come at the same price as the Acer x34, or higher, or cheaper.

Sure, just be ready to translate it! lool (Unless you speak the language)

English link:

 - http://www.guru3d.com/news-story/asus-rog-pg348q-34-ultra-wide-g-sync-100hz.html (Top of the page, 2nd paragraph, Acer UK say Q1 release)

Non-English (German):

 -

At the end of the video he says the early 2016 release date for the PG348Q

On this site it also says early 2016 at the end of the written article when you translate it

So yeah the news from Acer and IFA 2015 held in Germany, which is why the links are German is Q1 2016 for the PG348Q, and incase you're interested the PG279Q will be coming earlier, and is actually expected within the next month.

I was looking at the previous Swift which has numerous issues ranging from light bleed, blurry text and ghost which is not good. Has anyone had these issues?

i totally agree...I previously had a monitor that was about $500 and the warranty covered cross shipment and what people don't know is in order for that to take place with your RMA you have to have that amount of money in your account. So if you don't have the amount of the RMA in your acct your Sol or you have to do the regular snail mail or pay for shipping.

Yeaah I know I posted it in a couple other threads, but now people from IFA 2015 are saying it's meant to be even sooner, TFTCentral were guessing December, they said review samples out in October, that was their confirmed news, so the monitor could still be released before December

Nope, the PG279Q was boosted from 144Hz to 165Hz

It's the first display with a 165Hz refresh rate out the box

PG279Q 2560x1440@165Hz, PG348Q 3440x1440@100Hz and PG27AQ 3840x2160@60Hz (this one might be higher then 60Hz, as they have upped it on the 2 others).

Think they will all 3 be in the ROG lineup.

I speak my mind, sorry if thats a problem.
