I think it's a good upgrade. Lot more single-core performance.

Not really. with dx 12 coming multi core performance NOT per core will mean more in the long run and you barely gain that much per core anyways, waste of time, effort and money tbh.

Hi, I have an AMD FX-9590 and I wanted to change to Intel, is it worth it to upgrade to i7-6700k? Any suggestion or comments?

If u do multi core stuff, assuming as you have a 9590 in the first place, go for 5820k or higher.same price more cores 1-3fps difference from i7 6700k

“It would seem that Our Lord finds our desires not too strong, but too weak. We are half-hearted creatures, fooling about with drink and sex and ambition when infinite joy is offered us, like an ignorant child who wants to go on making mud pies in a slum because he cannot imagine what is meant by the offer of a holiday at the sea. We are far too easily pleased.”

depends on your usage realy.

if gaming is the main focus then the 6700k is worth it.

If you do gaming and productivity? go 5820K

You see the difference between the 8370 and 6700K no? Nvidia's lack of scaling has got jack to do with the CPU performance. But just for sake of completeness;

Hmm, I've had this issue with my old FX-6300 system. It's very annoying but I thought it was to due with the motherboard.
