Can This Be Fixed And How?

So Basically My Hyper X Cloud (1st ver.) Was used outdoors for about 4 months and because I can't keep anything safe well over a year my cable broke and I have no idea how I know its my fault but I need to know can i fix this and how? also the effect from this was that I can only hear the left side of the headphones

One concern, if you don't know the hyper x cloud uses braided cables does that make a difference?

No, you would just have to make sure it is firmly in the 3.5mm jack so it does not come out. Also, for a tip, if you are struggling with the handling of the braided cable, you can burn the end with a lighter to melt it so it does not fray away and become weak inside the jack.
