Worst Computer Brand Ever

Go to solution Solved by railfan,

hp for same reasons

What is the worst computer brand you know or experienced with? Explain why!

WRONG:

"Alienware"

RIGHT:

"Alienware because they don't use reliable parts for their desktops, don't specify what parts they are using for their desktops, & their laptops are always using lower end and/or older CPUs while their competitors such as MSI & Asus use higher end CPUs for their laptops. They provide the worst bang for your buck because there are better valued gaming laptops such as those from MSI & Asus for a little more or even less. The Graphics Amplifier is a pathetic joke because overtime your system will bottleneck & the GA undermines mobility."

Because this topic is so successful, I made a "happier" version of this topic, titled Best Computer Brand Ever. If you want to comment the best computer brand you know or experienced with, click here.

Probably CyberPower. Awful PSU's. Terrible customer service. They just throw everything in the case with no care whatsoever. They overcharge. The reasons go on and on, really.

At least Alienware are well made and they use quality parts, regardless of how expensive they are.

Dell; used to be good, had decent parts and good builds but the last 5 year or more...crap. Full of third party junk, customer service has fallen drastically. Don't by Dell.

AlienWare; even before Dell bought them out they were overpriced. I don't have firsthand experience with their customer support but I have heard bad things.

Alienware is not a brand it's from Dell lol.

Alienware is a brand. Because something belongs to another company, doesn't mean it isn't a brand, or the same quality as that company.

Around $200 for a custom system: http://pcpartpicker.com/p/4Qvhcf

And you can get Windows 8.1 on g2a for like $20.

HP, they are terrible, i mean there was a series you could fix by throwing them into the oven, yea.... (not a lie, i tried it with 3 notebooks, and 2 got fixed, the 3rd one was still broken)

Oh yea, they overheat like a smurf, it's just stupid

My friend has an alienware X51 and it's actually pretty good. I'm not sure how much he paid for it but he said it was around £550.

I think it would have to be Lenovo in my opinion. This is purely because I think their products look cheap and clunky across the board. It's just an aesthetics thing. Also Dell due to the worst customer service ever.

Alienware actually uses high quality components. The reason why everyone hates is because of their price. They do got that 13" notebook which I think is worth a buy. Also ppl ganna hate on me but I think the X51 is a good buy
