Robot tackling dummies

jos
Engineering students at Dartmouth developed the MVP -- Mobile Virtual Player -- which is essentially just a robot tackling dummy. It's remote-controlled and packed with foam, which allows players to hit the microchips out of it without causing injury to themselves or the robot.

Now no need to get injured thanks to robots

Pretty sick actually, this takes sports practices like football, basketball, and soccer to a whole new level.

Well in essence its just a big RC car with a nice air ballon on top.

But in this use case its quite nice, a lot cheaper and safer than person on person (because injuries cost a lot to heal). So for practice good.

Also, practising it more might make it easier to avoid injuries ingame as well, as they will be more accustomed to it.
