I need a new rig

G27Racer_188

1. Budget & Location

I live in Serbia, so I'll be buying from retailers here. As for the budget it is 100.000, yes ladies and gentleman you've heard it right one hundred thousand, but that is RSD whitch is $943. But there is possibility for me to get additional 50.000, so I'd like to see a build for this budget as well. Both can go over by 5000 RSD.

2. Aim

Surprise, surprise, It's for gaming, mostly, about 75%, web, youtube, twitch 15%, school stuff 5%, other things 5%.

3. Monitors

I have a main 1080p monitor and 1680x1050 second monitor. They work for now, so no new ones needed.

4. Peripherals

I have a keyboard, but I need a new mouse, since my current one uses a PS/2 connector and is beige colored. I use palm grip, so long mouse would be perfect. If you can fit one in the budget, great, but if you can't that's OK too, then I'll use some cheap one until i get the money for a decent one.

5. Why am I upgading?

Because my current system can't play any game that was released since 2013, and it's getting boring to play old games over and over again.

Current specs:

CPU: Intel Pentium Dual Core E5300 2.6 GHz, OC'd to 3.5 GHz with the stock cooler

M/B: MSI G31TM-P21

RAM: 3GB Patriot 800MHZ DDR2

PSU: CoolerMaster B600 550W - Not the best, but also not the worst, I hope it can be reused in the new rig (http://www.coolermaster.com/powersupply/b-series/b600/)

Storage: Seagate 500GB main HDD, 120GB Maxtor IDE drive - Seagate can be reused for the new rig, later i can add more cheap mass storage.

GPU: NVIDIA 9500GT

TLDR

Gaming rig, One for 100.000 ($935), one for 150.000 RSD ($1400)

Ok, but i'd prefer intel for the cpu, but it doesn't look bad.

If OP wants to stream via twitch then an FX8350 at that pricepoint is his best option.

Streaming is not in my plans right now, maybe in the future.

How far in the future? And what games are you thinking of streaming? If it is something simple like League Of Legends, you can get by with an i5. But for anything more cpu intensive, the FX8350 will beat it for streaming.

Also, it depends on if you're willing to lay down more cash for a cpu upgrade in the future - in which case you could get a relatively cheap Intel motherboard and low end Intel chip, and upgrade later on.

Probably two years, if not more. I definitely isn't high on priority list.

Ah, now that's been cleared up, i'd suggest an i5 4460 :P

I like the last ITX system, maybe i could stretch a bit to get K CPU and Z motherboard.

How far in the future? And what games are you thinking of streaming? If it is something simple like League Of Legends, you can get by with an i5. But for anything more cpu intensive, the FX8350 will beat it for streaming.

Also, it depends on if you're willing to lay down more cash for a cpu upgrade in the future - in which case you could get a relatively cheap Intel motherboard and low end Intel chip, and upgrade later on.

did you think  about the xeons? also 8 threads, but as cheap as the i5's and basically i7s? i can recommend the xeon 1231v3, so i don't think the fx will beat it
