You can get unlimited wireless plans. The most you can get in Australia is 25GB for $150 a month.

To be fair our net is uncapped, but it likes to have outages randomly, kinda hurts more when you play a game and it bans you for "abandoning"

Its just as bad if not worse when it comes to coverage over here-that many people use it that it frequently has issues. And you can't even play games on ADSL2+ at night as the speed goes through the floor, and packet loss and your ping go through the roof.

No? You can get much better than that in Australia. There is unlimited NBN plans for $70 a month, mobile plans are pretty expensive though.

trust me you can't its quite sad I live in a nice part of a Liverpool (a really big city in the UK) and still there's no fibre optic around here! The highest speed possible in 80% of the UK is 17 mbps

It's really luck where you live in the UK, you could one up to be in that one specific place that has 1Gb up and down :( or be at another with 0.08 Mbps

The NBN has been scaled back to 'fibre to the node'. Areas that need it first are getting it last (aka, areas with pair gain that are limited to 2 adsl connections per street, with everyone else needing to use wireless-which also barely has coverage in quite a lot of ADSL blackspots), or aren't even on the plans for the next 5-10 years. Also even if you get it, you will not be getting the 100Mbps that was being touted at the start.
