Hey there fellow Linus meida group follwers!

 

I am currently building a new PC and was wondering if a FX-8350 would bottleneck a 980 Ti. If it would, then what graphics card would you recommend getting?

Would , you should get some R9 390 or R9 380. Unless you are using in high resolutions.

What kind of a comment is this. As if noone was ever going to mention how terribly unbalanced a 980TI would be on a 8350. Regardless of the application.

 

 

Those are very CPU demanding games.

yes it would bottleneck it, get an i5 instead

yes it would, get a 4690k/6600k for gaming or 4790k/6700k if you plan on editing videos

If you just post just this 3 games, the guy can think that every game will be the same, its nice to mention that they are kinda of extreme exemples, even the i5s are suffering with them.

I would look at youtube videos and some benchmarks if i were u.

Its a small chance that someone with that combo will actually reply to your topic.

I never used that CPU so take my opinoon with a grain of salt, but on PC intensive games it COULD bottleneck since we all know that AMD cores arent as powerful as Intels.

My cousin has an AMD 8350 and a really high end Nvidia graphics card its a 980 something and has no complaints about the setup every game he plays supposedly has extremely high fps but at the same time he has been building computers for 18+ years as well as overclocking them so who knows what his specs are like exactly. He's one of those types that goes big or goes home.
