Good PSU for upgradability and budget

I am building for a friend a z97 g3258,planning to replace it with 4690k in future if possible.

probably SLI a gtx 950 or get a new one, might go with amd card.

whole build going for 500usd

950 doesn't allow SLI IIRC - check but I believe it's disabled on that card.

Why you goiing with Z97? Why not save money if you're going Pentium?

It's got the finger so I'm assuming it does, must've just been the 750 (ti) that didn't.

I was pretty sure Paul's Hardware state that SLI was disabled on the 950. No idea then.

Don't SLI 950s, it's just not recomended by...anyone. You'd be much better off getting a 280X for some more money, or a 380 for less. 

You didnt specify a budget or expectations for the PSU, i'm assuming you're in a budget so a 750W bronze certified unit seems apropiate

Dont SLI the 950. Get a high end AMD 200 series card that will perform better.

Then EVGA G2 is your answer, the GS line is also excellent. So are most seasonic and superflower but they tend to be a little more expensive without offering anything more.

No, has super awful voltage regulation. EVGA B2/GS/G2 or Antec High Current Gamer are much better.

|PSU Tier List /80 Plus Efficiency| PSU stuff if you need it.
